Cathal McShane could be set to return to action for Tyrone ahead of their upcoming Ulster Championship campaign.
The former All-Star forward has been out since picking up an ankle injury in February of last year.
Joint-manager Fergal Logan says McShane is back in full training ahead of their opener against Cavan next month.
Elsewhere it is being reported this morning that the GAA are to revert back to the regular 5 substitutes for championship games instead of the 7 allowed in this year’s league.
Because of the condenced nature of the league this year, the CCCC allowed extra subs to be made as the competition offered less playing time for players.
Kerry boss Peter Keane said that these extra subs need to be kept to keep injuries to a minimum.
