McIlroy well off the pace after error-strewn third round

Rory McIlroy has fallen well off the pace after an error-strewn third round in the PGA Tour's Travelers Championship.

He's on 6-under par in Connecticut, 11 shots behind leader Xander Shauffele.

Seamus Power shot a level par round of 70 last night to remain on 8 under for the tournament and in a tie for 19th place.

Stephanie Meadow is in a tie for tenth and 6 shots off the lead as the final day of the Women's PGA Championship gets underway this afternoon.

The Antrim native sits on 2 under par after a round of 72 on Saturday.

Leona Maguire shot a quadruple bogey on her way to a 77 last night and is back on 7 over par going into the final round.

Chun In Gee of Korea has a 3 shot lead on 8 under par.
