McIlroy not giving up on Open

Rory McIlroy says he won't give up on his pursuit of Scottie Scheffler on the final day of golf's Open Championship, but he admits it feels 'inevitable' that the American will lift the Claret Jug.

A third-round 66 moved McIlroy to eight-under-par at Portrush, but he's six strokes behind the world number one heading into the last-round.

At 14-under, Scheffler is four strokes clear of the chasing pack, as he looks to be crowned Open champion for the first time.

2019 champion Shane Lowry insists a stomach virus won't stop him from playing today, he's back out from three-over-par.
