Rory McIlroy says a "stubborn" back problem is still troubling him as he races to be fit to defend his Players Championship title at Sawgrass this week.
The world number 2 pulled out of the Arnold Palmer Invitational after suffering spasms before his third round at Bay Hill on Saturday.
He'll make a late decision on whether he can tee it up at Sawgrass.
