McIlroy and Maguire in contention ahead of final rounds

Rory McIlroy is two strokes off the lead heading in to the final round at golf's U.S. Open.

The Northern Irishman, who is aiming for a first major win since 2014, hit a four-under 67 in the third round at Torrey Pines.

He's tied for fourth on three-under with Louis Oosthuizen, Mackenzie Hughes and Russell Henley all sharing the lead at 5-under.

Leona Maguire will tee off for her final round of the LPGA Meijer Classic from 17-under-par later on.

The Cavan-native is second on the leaderboard in Michigan, three shots off leader Nelly Korda of the United States.

The 26-year-old is attempting to become the first Irish person to win on the LPGA tour.
