Darragh McElhinney's finished just outside the medals in the final of the 3000m at the European Indoors in Istanbul.
The 22-year-old UCD man finished 4th and set a personal best with a time of 7:44.
Sophie Becker, Sharlene Mawdsley, Cliodhna Manning and Phil Healy were 5th in the final of the Women's 4x400m relay.
