Andy Moran says he’s hopeful that Cillian O’Connor will return to the Mayo football panel for next season.
O’Connor opted out of inter-county in 2025, but the new Mayo boss says he’s already spoken with the Championship’s all-time top scorer.
Moran’s three-year appointment was ratified at last night’s Mayo County Board meeting with Colm Boyle and Paddy Tally on his management team.

Diane O’Hora was also confirmed as Mayo’s new senior ladies football manager.
