Manchester City are weighing up a move to re-sign James Trafford but may need to act fast, with Newcastle still pushing to land the Burnley goalkeeper.
City want to offload either Ederson or Stefan Ortega before bringing Trafford back, but interest from Galatasaray in Ederson has yet to turn into a formal offer.
Trafford, who joined Burnley two years ago for 20 million euro, is keen on a return to the Etihad.
City must also navigate UEFA squad limits, as they’re already over the quota for foreign players, making goalkeeper departures a priority.
