Ireland's Nations League relegation playoff opponents Bulgaria have been thrown in chaos with their manager submitting his resignation this afternoon.
Ilian Iliev tendered his resignation by email, but the Bulgarian FA have yet to decide on whether they will accept it.
Heimir Hallgrimsson's side travel to Sofia for the first leg on March 20th, with the return fixture in Dublin three days later.
