Man City held at Southampton

Southampton have avoided an unwanted Premier League record with a goalless draw against Manchester City.

They've gone past the competition's lowest ever points total, while dealing a blow to City's hopes of Champions League qualification.

Brentford remain in the hunt for Europe after winning 1-nil at Ipswich, before fellow contenders Bournemouth meet Aston Villa in the late game.

Brighton's 2-nil victory over Wolves also boosted their chances - but Fulham slipped up after losing 3-1 to Everton.

St Johnstone have kept their hopes of staying in the Scottish Premiership alive with a 2-1 victory over fellow strugglers Ross County.

They'd have gone down if they'd lost today.

Dundee are also not sure of their top-flight status after losing 3-2 to Kilmarnock.

Champions Celtic came back from a goal down to beat Hibs 3-1.

Elsewhere, Hearts were 3-nil winners against Motherwell and Dundee United suffered a 2-nil defeat at home to St Mirren.
