Templeogue will face Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell in the final of the Ken Clarke Women’s U20 National Cup, following a 50-47 win over Tralee Magic at Parochial Hall on Sunday morning.
Eabha Booth’s 18 points were crucial in dragging Templeogue back into a game in which they trailed by 11 in the second half. Tralee Magic played an outstanding defensive game and their two shooters Holly O’Brien and Priya O’Donovan turned up when their team needed them, but the extra depth in the ranks of Templeogue just managed to get the Dublin side over the line in the closing moments.

Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell capped a fantastic weekend for their underage sides by advancing to the U18 Women’s National Cup final, following an emphatic 74-55 victory over a strong Kilkenny Stars outfit in Parochial Hall on Sunday. A 20-point performance from both Francesa Kyamagero and Jean Aherne, including a stunning five three-point shots from Aherne proved too much for Kilkenny to handle.
Pharrell Osagie scored 27 points and Sean Noonan helped himself to 21 points, as Neptune powered themselves to the U20 Men’s National Cup final, following a 89-57 win over Portlaoise Panthers at Neptune Stadium on Sunday. They will face Titans in the decider, who overcame Éanna 94-70 at MTU Arena in their semi-final, to reach their second final at this level in three years. Declan Gbinigie top scored for the Galway outfit with 31 points, backed up by a 20-point performance from Luka Mitchell.
South East Swifts secured their place in the IWA National Cup final with a 59-32 triumph over Titans at MTU Arena on Sunday. Swifts will take on defending champions Rebel Wheelers, after Joseph Hargow, Jack Managan and Tadgh Buckley combined for 49 points to send Swifts through to the final. Rebel Wheelers, who are on the hunt for a seventh consecutive title, defeated Clonaslee 75-30 in their semi-final on Saturday.
Phoenix defeated Neptune 84-77 to reach the NICC Men’s National Cup final, where they will play Killester, who defeated Ongar Chasers 73-53 in their semi-final on Saturday. Maks Dimitrov scored a game-high 26 points for the victors.
