Matthieu Pavon has become the first French golfer to win a PGA Tour event in over 100 years with his victory at the Farmers Insurance Open.

His final round of 69 in San Diego saw him end the tournament on 13-under par, a shot clear of Denmark's Nicolai Hoejgaard.

Ireland's Shane Lowry finished in a tie for 25th on 6-under par.
