Lowry best of Irish as Oosthuizen stays out in front

Defending champion Shane Lowry will tee off best of the Irish on the final day of The Open today.

The Offaly native will be out from 5-under-par just before half-past-1 this afternoon.

He's seven shots off leader Louis Oosthuizen who has a one-stroke lead over the chasing pack.

Lowry hasn't ruled out the possibility of retaining his title

Rory McIlroy will tee off at Royal St. George's from 1-under-par just after 11-o'clock this morning.
