Liverpool go fifth

Liverpool have thrashed West Ham 5-2 to go fifth in the Premier League.

Brentford scored late to beat Burnley 4-3 after being 3-0 up and Everton were 3-2 winners at Newcastle.

It was 1-all in the early game between Bournemouth and Sunderland.

Erling Haaland is injured for Manchester City's trip to Leeds this evening.

That one is underway at 5:30pm

Coventry scored in the 94th minute to beat Stoke 2-1 and move eight points clear at the top of the Championship.

Millwall's 2-nil win at Preston takes them within a point of the automatic promotion places.

Of the other teams in the play-off spots, Ipswich claimed a 3-nil victory over Swansea, while Hull and Wrexham got past Portsmouth and Charlton 1-nil respectively.

Oxford boosted their hopes of survival by beating fellow strugglers West Brom 2-1.

Leicester's 2-nil defeat to Norwich keeps them in the bottom three.

QPR lost by the same score to Sheffield United and Derby were 3-1 winners against Blackburn.

Hearts have moved seven points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 1-nil victory over Aberdeen.

Motherwell beat Dundee United 2-nil.
