Liverpool Crushed At Home To Palace

A much-changed Liverpool side exited the EFL Cup last night after losing 3-nil to Crystal Palace in the last-16.

The Merseysiders' boss Arne Slot named three teenagers including 17-year-old Rio Ngumoha in his starting line-up for the match.

Palace head coach Oliver Glasner says his players never underestimated their hosts though, as that would have been "disrespectful".

Palace have been drawn at Arsenal for their quarter-final in December.

Newcastle, Manchester City and Chelsea also made it through.

Brentford will face Manchester City in another all Premier League clash, while Brian Barry Murphy's Cardiff go to Chelsea.

Champions Newcastle will play Fulham.
