Liverpool's attention will now turn to qualifying for next season's Champions League.

Their involvement in this season's competition was ended by Real Madrid in the last 8 last night.

A scoreless draw at Anfield saw Real progress 3-1 on aggregate.

Real will now play Chelsea in the semi finals.

Liverpool are sixth in the Premier League and 3 points off West Ham.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp feels they can finish in the top four.

It's the first time since 2018 that the Merseyside club will finish the season without any silverware.

Manchester City have made the last four for the first ever time under manager Pep Guardiola.

They beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in Germany, meaning they go through 4-2 and will now meet PSG.

Riyad Mahrez scored from the penalty spot after 55 minutes for the visitors with Phil Foden also finding the back of the net in the 75th minute.

Guardiola was emotional at full-time.
