Littler through but Barry out

Luke Littler insists back-to-back PDC World Darts Championship titles is the only thing he wants after safely reaching the third round.

The title-holder was a three sets to nil winner over debutant David Davies at Alexandra Palace last night.

There was disappointment for Meath's Keane Barry, who lost to Martin Schindler by three sets to nil.

And former champion Gerwyn Price also made his exit after a 3-nil defeat to Wesley Plaisier.

Round 2 continues later, with last year's beaten finalist Luke Humphries in action against Paul Lim in the evening session.
