Littler Hits 9 Darter On His Way To Latest Win

Luke Littler threw a nine-darter as he booked his place in the quarter-finals of the World Matchplay with a victory over Nathan Aspinall.

The world number one won 11-8 at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool to advance.

Also last night, Gary Anderson progressed to the last-eight after beating Welshman Jonny Clayton 11-7.

Michael van Gerwen's tournament is over though, he lost to fellow Dutchman Dirk van Duijvenbode.
