53-year old jockey, Seamie Heffernan, who has been riding for the past 37 years, rode Cristal Clere to victory for trainer John Nallen in today’s feature race at Listowell, the Edmund and Josie Whelan Memorial Listed Stakes over a mile.
The evergreen Heffernan says he still gets a real buzz out of riding winners and out of trying to find the next one
