The Kingdom Warrior is to make his return to the ring on September 5th.
Kevin Cronin, whose last fight was at Madison Square Garden in March, will take on former English champion Grant Dennis at the 3Arena in Dublin.

Kevin Cronin will return to the ring for the first time since his fight at Madison Square Garden in March.
He returns on September 5th at the 3Arena in Dublin, fighting on the Michael Conlan-headlined Wasserman Promotions card. Cronin faces another test in former English champion Grant Dennis — Dennis being a former champion is a serious opponent for a comeback fight, showing Kevin’s belief in himself and his refusal to take an easy route back.
A big win here in this fight could catapult Cronin forward again and could earn him a shot at the Irish title in October against unbeaten Cathal Crowley, with Emmet Brennan reportedly turning down the Irish title fight.
Kevin’s camp says he’s now a bigger, stronger Super Middleweight, and since March has not left the gym and has focused on maximizing his power at 168 lbs. He’s keeping quiet on specifics but promises everyone’s eyes will open on September 5th.
The Kingdom Warriors team still believes he can be a powerhouse at the 168lb division, and as positive as his performance was in March, he still just underperformed big time from what he could do. We will get to see how good he is in September on another big stage!
