Killorglin's Zoe Hyde finished fourth in the A Final of the Women's Double Sculls in the World Rowing Championships in Belgrade.
She and Fermoy's Alison Bergin were almost six behind the winners Romania with Lithuania and the United States taking silver and bronze respectively.
Despite missing out on the medals, the Irish pair had already achieved Olympic qualification after finishing second in their semi-final on Saturday.
