Killarney’s National Hunt fixture on Sunday, May 10 has been switched with Cork’s meeting on Saturday, May 9.
The change was approved by the HRI Fixtures Committee following confirmation that the Munster Football Final will take place on May 10.
With Kerry the reigning All-Ireland champions, a home Munster Final in Killarney is considered a strong possibility.
Killarney Racecourse Manager Karl McCay thanked Cork for agreeing to the swap, saying holding both events on the same day would have created significant difficulties for stable staff, connections and racegoers.
