Kerry's Ciara Griffin has announced that she is retiring from international rugby, due to family reasons.

The Irish captain will play for her country for the final time in Saturday’s test against Japan in Dublin.

27 year old Griffin, who has skippered Ireland since 2018, is to make her 41st international appearance at the weekend.
