3 Kerry men will be seeking a win tonight in Tbilisi, Georgia as it's game day for the Irish U20 men.
The team narrowly missed out on a place in quarter finals having had a win over Hungary in their first group game and an incredible comeback to win over eventual group winners Bulgaria in the group stages, but a loss to Latvia saw three of the four group teams on 2:1, unfortunately the Irish side did not make the cut on point difference.
Tonight they face Albania in the 9-16 classification stage. The game tips off at 6.15pm Irish time and can be viewed on the FIBA You tube channel.
Head coach of the Irish team is Castleisland’s & St. Mary’s Paudie Fleming, while the team is captained by Tralee’s Rap Buivydas (St. Brendan’s) and Leeroy Odiahi (Tralee Imperials).
