Kerry will be away to Cork in the semi-final of the Munster Senior Football Championship.

The Rebels have beaten Limerick 24 points to 13 to set up the 7 o’clock tie against the Kingdom on Saturday April 19th.

In the other ¼ final Tipperary defeated Waterford 1-22 to 1-19.

Laois came away from Wexford Park with a 2-21 to 2-11 win over Wexford in the opening round of the Leinster Football Championship.

The opening round of the Leinster Football Championship continues later.

Issues off the pitch will be put aside with Meath taking on Carlow from 3pm.

Half an hour later, Wicklow make the trip to Longford with a quarter final against Dublin up for grabs.

They meet in the preliminary round with the action underway in Ballybofey at 2pm.

The remaining two quarter finals of the Connacht Football Championship are down for decision today.

A meeting with Roscommon is the prize for New York and Galway who meet in Gaelic Park at 8pm Irish time.

That will follow the clash between Mayo and Sligo at 3:30pm.
