Kerry to face Armagh as Galway and Donegal book All-Ireland 1/4 final spots

Kerry are to play Armagh in the last 8 of the All-Ireland Senior Football championship following this weekend's results.

Armagh cannot meet any of the other sides who came through the preliminary quarter-finals.

Donegal and Galway have booked their spots in the last 8 of the All Ireland Senior Football championship.

Jim McGuinness' men eased past Louth in the preliminary quarter final by 2-20 to 0-10.

Goals from Ciaran Thompson and Conor O'Donnell helped the Ulster champions into the next round.

Meanwhile Galway got the better of Down by 2-26 to 3-21 in Newry.

Shane Walsh scored 1-7 as the Tribesmen progressed to tomorrow morning's quarter final draw.
