The Warriors U20s continued their winning League run in impressive fashion with a 102-51 win over Limerick Celtics in Tralee last night.
The hosts led by 22-17 at the end of the opening quarter with Warriors Senior James Fernane and captain Jack Tobin hitting shots from inside and out. The home side continued to the exchanges in the second quarter and but for a single score completely shut out the Limerick offence and built up a 50-19 half time lead with Mikey McCarthy in particular hitting some big shots.
The visitors finally got going in the third to start eating into the Warriors lead but the hosts continued to find the basket at their ease through Fernane, Tommy Burns and Ziggy Kaletka and led 76-36 at three quarter time.
The Warriors young guns saw out the win as expected with another dominant display in the final quarter with Burns, Bowler, Graham Sheehy and Dominic Finnegan all adding to the final tally of 102-51.
