A proposal for a new League of Ireland team based in Meath is expected to be unveiled this week, according to the Irish Independent.
It's understood that the club will be based out of the Meath and District League in Navan, starting with an underage team.
Plans for the club are yet to be given the go-ahead by the FAI, but it's hoped a senior level team will be in place by the mid 2030s.
