He’s 18 under after a very impressive second round of 12 under par.
Deerpark's Damien Fleming and Jason's Tralee club-mate Darren Goodall are also in strong contention, on 14 under and 13 under respectively

Meanwhile, Deerpark's Cillian Courtney leads the Intermediate event on 10 under, ahead of their final 36 holes which get underway this afternoon.
