Kerry are planning for an Allianz Hurling League semi-final following results over the weekend in Division 2A.
The Kingdom may have lost to Kildare but the draw between Down and Derry means Kerry cannot be caught in third position.
They will be away to Offaly or Kildare in that semi-final.
