A Kerry cyclist has made a great start to the Donegal Atlantic Way Ultra cycle. Gavin O Connor from Cromane is competing in the 555km

A Kerry cyclist has made a great start to the Donegal Atlantic Way Ultra cycle.

Gavin O Connor from Cromane is competing in the 555km road race across Donegal which takes an average of 24 hours to complete.

The Kerry man has reached Checkpoint 4 in a time of 7 hours, 9 minutes which is Eighth overall in the solo race.
