Fresh from their League final triumph, the Kerry Ladies begin the defence of their Munster Football Championship this weekend.
Kerry supporters will have to wait until round 3 for a home fixture as they open their campaign away to the Rebelettes in Cork. Kerry won this fixture 2-15 to 13 points in last year’s opening round.
The last time both sides played was in their respective league finals in Croke Park. Kerry earned a dominant win over Armagh to claim the Division 1 title while Cork fell short to Galway on a score of 2-8 to 1-5 in the Division 2 final.
