Kerry jockey Jack Kennedy says he's hoping to get the green light from his surgeon next week ahead of the Cheltenham Festival.

Gordon Elliott's main rider has been sidelined since suffering a sixth leg break in November.

Kennedy rode Minella Indo top victory in the 2021 Cheltenham Gold Cup but missed last year's Festival through injury.
