Kerry have booked their place in the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
In Croke Park the Kingdom got the better of Tyrone by 2-25 to 0-27.
A Paudie Clifford two pointer was the opening score after 4 minutes. Tyrone had the next 3 points, David Clifford equalising in the 8th minute. Tyrone had 4 of the next 5 points to open up a 7 points to 4 lead. It was 7 to 5 after quarter of an hour. After Paul Geaney cut the deficit in half David Clifford took advantage of a Tyrone mistake in defence, being set-up by Gavin White. A Tyrone 2 pointer leveled the encounter. Points by Diarmuid O'Connor and Dylan Geaney put Kerry 2 ahead. Again, a Tyrone 2 pointer brought the sides level. Once more Kerry went 2 ahead, the points coming from David Clifford and Dylan Geaney. The Kingdom led 1-11 to 0-12 at half time.
After Tyrone halved the deficit Kerry hit 3 points in a row to go ahead by 1-14 to 0-13. A David Clifford two pointer made it 1-16 to 0-14 after 45 minutes. Tyrone responded with a 2 pointer of their own. Paudie Clifford put 4 between the sides; 1-17 to 0-16 after 51 minutes. Tyrone had the next 3 points to move within 1. Dylan Geaney put two between the sides and with 14 minutes to go it was 1-18 to 0-19. The same player had the Kingdom 4 clear thanks to a 2 pointer. Yet another Tyrone 2 pointer cut that lead in half at 1-20 to 0-21. The gap was then down to 1. David Clifford had Kerry two clear again, with 11 minutes remaining. 3 minutes later it was 1-22 to 0-24 as sub Darren McCurry pointed yet again for Tyrone. Points from Dylan Geaney and Paudie Clifford had Kerry 3 ahead. Again Tyrone hit back, an 8th point of the day from sub Darren McCurry making it 1-24 to 0-25 with 4 minutes to go. Tyrone then moved within 1. Heading for the final minute, it was delicately poised at 1-25 to 0-27. An Armin Heinrich goal at the very end saw the Kingdom win by 4.
Mayo were the first team into the semi-finals of the All Ireland Football Championship.
Andy Morans side overcame the challenge of Cork 23 points to 18 at Croke Park.
Ryan O'Donoghue top scored with 8 points in the game, Darragh Beirne with one score less.
