Kerry’s Siofra O’Shea is in the Ireland U20’s women’s squad for the FIBA European Challenge.
The St. Mary’s Castleisland student has previously represented her Country at U15, 16 and 18 levels.
Ireland are competing in the ‘A’ division having securing promotion after winning a bronze medal at the 2019 FIBA U20 European ‘B’ Championship.
The European Championship was due to be held in Hungary in early July. No host country or start date has been confirmed by FIBA for this new FIBA European Challenge tournament.
The U20 women returned to training last weekend, after being given the green light to do so by Sport Ireland.
