Kerry and Cork opened phase-2 of the Munster under-20 football championship with comfortable wins over Clare and Tipperary respectively.

The Kingdom had a 1-13 to 5 point win away to the Banner and after the game manager Tomás O Sé spoke with Tim Moynihan.
