Kerry GAA Won't Lay Down To AFL Clubs

Kerry GAA's runaí says they won't take the recruitment of their young players by AFL clubs 'lying down'.

Ben Murphy became the latest Kingdom youngster to seal a move down under when he signed for Premiership champions Brisbane last week.

Peter Twiss has told The Irish Examiner that Kerry need to 'fight fire with fire' and make it attractive for players to stay in Ireland.

He's also hit out at Australian clubs for speaking to prospects while they're preparing to sit the Leaving Cert.
