Two Kerry players will look to build on their Munster debuts this weekend in the Women’s Senior Interprovincial Championship.
Annakate Cournane from Iveragh Eagles RFC and Lily Morris of Killarney RFC both came off the bench in Munster’s 44–5 win over Connacht in Virgin Media Park.
The two were part of seven debutants last weekend. Munster Women’s head coach Niamh Briggs says it’s a sign of the great development within the province.
Munster ran in eight tries on the day, with Chisom Ugwueru scoring a hat–trick. They face defending champions Leinster in Dublin next Saturday.
