Kerry defender ruled out for 'a few weeks' due to ankle injury

The Kerry hurlers will be without the services of Fionan Mackessy for a few weeks.

The St Brendan’s defender limped off with an ankle injury during Kerry’s last game against Meath 2 weeks ago.

Speaking to Radio Kerry Sport ahead of tomorrows clash with Wicklow, manager Fintan O Connor confirmed that they will be without Fionan for a few weeks at least.
