Cashen Vale’s Brooklyn Quilligan won by a majority decision in his semi-final at the Junior Cadet Championship in Dublin.
The Tralee schoolboy will be back in the National Stadium next Saturday morning for his final contest.
Cashen Vale’s Khaled Renai, in his 63 kg quarter final bout, lost to the more experienced Cian Ryan of the St Brigid’s Club of Kildare.
