Kerry beat Tipperary in All Ireland Camogie Championship

Kerry have won their All Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship opener.

They defeated Tipperary in Lixnaw by 1-11 to 0-11.

It was one point each after 10 minutes and Tipperary led 0-2 to 0-1 at the water break. Kerry did the better form there til the end of the half and led 0-5 to 0-1 at the break.

After Tipp got level at 6 points apiece Jackie Horgan goaled for the Kingdom. Kerry led 1-8 to 7 points at the water break and by 1-10 to 0-9 with 8 minutes remaining.
