Kerry Athlete Finishes 4th In T47 High Jump Final

Kerry's Jordan Lee finished 4th in the T47 High Jump at the European Championships in Poland.

The Killarney athlete was 4 cm shy of a medal, recording a season best jump of 1.87 meters.

The Kerry native had hoped to build on his bronze medal of three years ago when he cleared 1.75m to finish third in the T47 finals.

The winning jump was by Russian Margiev Georgii with 1.94, a personal best for him, which is also a new championship record.
