Kerry's 1953 All-Ireland Football winning captain James 'Jas' Murphy has passed away at the age of 98.
The Tralee-native former corner-back also represented Cork during his inter-county career.
Murphy worked as a garda in Cork for over 30 years and was a president of the Nemo Rangers club.
