Leinster head coach Leo Cullen says Hugo Keenan could be out of action until at least the New Year.
The fullback underwent hip surgery following this summer's British and Irish Lions tour of Australia.
That means he'll miss big November tests for Ireland, against New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.

Joe McCarthy is also set for a spell on the sidelines - he picked up a foot injury during the first test against the Wallabies, and won't be back until November at the earliest.
