More than 80% of Japanese people that took part in a survey are against the idea of hosting the Olympics this year.
The rescheduled Tokyo Games are less than 10 weeks away and Japan expanded a coronavirus state of emergency last week due to a fourth wave of infections.
The latest survey found 43% want the 2020 Games cancelled, and 40% want a further postponement.
