Italy have appointed Gennaro Gattuso as their new head coach.
The former AC Milan boss replaces Luciano Spalletti - who was sacked after their 3-nil defeat to Norway in World Cup qualifying earlier this month.
Gattuso - who represented his country 73 times as a player - has been called "a symbol of Italian football" by the president of Italy's football governing body.
