The Irish rugby squad begin preparations for the Six Nations in Portugal today.
The players will spend over a week in the Algarve on a pre-tournament training camp before facing France on Thursday week in Paris.
Speaking at the tournament launch yesterday, Irish head coach Andy Farrell spoke of his disappointment for prop Jack Boyle, who will miss the tournament with an achillles injury
