Irish interest today at the Winter Olympics
3 February 2026; The Team Ireland Allianz Flagbearers for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be Thomas Maloney Westgård and Anabelle Zurbay. The Opening Ceremony takes place on Friday 6 February, with athletes parading across the four Olympic clusters. Maloney Westgård carries the flag in Predazzo and Anabelle Zurbay carries the flag in Cortina. Both Cormac Comerford and Ben Lynch will be walking in the Livigno parade. There's Irish interest in the Winter Olympics in Italy later this morning.

Cormac Comerford goes in the Alpine Skiing Super G, with the event due to begin shortly before half ten.
