The IRFU has opened an investigation into online racist abuse directed toward Edwin Edogbo.
The Munster lock from Cobh in county Cork made his Ireland international debut in Saturday's Six Nations win against Italy.
A number of racist comments were posted below the IRFU's post celebrating Edogbo's first Ireland cap.
The IRFU are working with data technology company Signify - which specialises in protecting against online abuse - and relevant authorities.

Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has hit out at "keyboard warriors", for the abuse aimed at Sam Prendergast and Jack Crowley.
Prendergast has faced criticism in the wake of Saturday's 20-13 win over Italy, while Crowley missed a late kick to touch which could have given Ireland a chance for a bonus-point.
Farrell says both out-halves are strong characters, but he feels online abuse can be "damaging" for young players.
Ireland play England at Twickenham this Saturday with both sides looking to pick up a second win of this year's Six Nations.
