The IRFU has confirmed that Greg McWilliams has left his role as Ireland women’s head coach by mutual consent, and with immediate effect.
He succeeded Adam Griggs in late 2021, but led Ireland to the wooden spoon in this year’s Women’s Six Nations.
The rest of the management team will remain in place, led by John McKee, until a long-term replacement for McWilliams is found.
